After Significant Weight Loss
Losing a lot of weight, whether through diet, training or a GLP-1 medication, does not only remove fat. Muscle goes with it. That is why people reach their goal weight and still feel soft rather than lean, and it is the most common frustration we hear from clients finishing a weight loss program.
Muscle stimulation with truSculpt Flex or CoolTone rebuilds the tone that came off with the fat. Stubborn areas that held on through the whole process are usually a job for truSculpt iD, and loose or crepey skin often responds to hyperdilute Radiesse. These are all credible technologies and any of them works in the right hands. Radiofrequency heats fat rather than freezing it, which most clients find more comfortable and which handles firmer, less pinchable fat better than cooling does. Technique and honest assessment matter more than the badge on the machine.
Is It Right for You?
This works best if you are at or near your goal weight and want to address specific areas. It is a shaping tool, not a weight loss treatment, and we will say so plainly if weight loss should come first.

Electronic Implants
You have metal, electrical, or electronic implants in the treatment area.
Breastfeeding
You are pregnant or currently breastfeeding.
Active Skin Conditions
You have an active skin condition or infection where the paddles would be placed.

Your Appointment
- Your provider assesses the area and maps where each paddle sits for your body type.
- The paddles are placed and the session runs, usually fifteen to thirty minutes.
- You leave and carry on with your day. There is no recovery period.
truSculpt iD feels warm but comfortable, and the area may look flushed for about an hour. Flex feels like a deep contraction, and some clients find it ticklish at first. Mild tingling afterwards is normal.

What It Costs

Fat cells removed by truSculpt iD do not come back. Muscle tone behaves like any training result and needs maintenance sessions to hold.
Not in the treated cells. Gaining significant weight can enlarge remaining fat cells elsewhere, so a stable weight protects your result.
Possibly, but it is usually the wrong order. Body contouring shapes; it does not reduce overall weight. Ask about medical weight loss first and we will plan the contouring around it.
