At Well Labs+ MedSpa Charleston we have two types of body contouring services. Both are within the TruSculpt® family, but one device is for muscle toning and the other is for fat burning. What is TruSculpt® ID used for?

TruSculpt® ID is one of the fastest body sculpting treatments on the market. This device damages fat cells using heat which eliminates them from the body naturally. It is a non-invasive monopolar radiofrequency treatment. This technology is clinically proven to provide an average of 24% fat reduction and tailors to a patient’s individual needs. With little to no pain and zero downtime, you can see visible results after one treatment, with optimal results seen after 12 weeks.

What is TruSculpt® Flex used for?

TruSculpt® Flex is used to build muscle and sculpt the body. In just one 15-minute session, TruFlex delivers the equivalent of 54,000 crunches to strengthen and tone multiple muscle groups. This unique muscle stimulation technology features adjustable intensities to achieve the personalized look you desire. You will begin to see results after 4-6 Flex treatments.

Can you use both devices?

Go beyond just fat burning or muscle toning and combined the two to create the full truBody® treatment. This is a customized, convenient treatment that pairs two proven technologies together to allow the patient to get the best results possible.

Treatment Guidelines

The TruSculpt® procedure is not for everyone. You should not have this treatment in areas where you have metal, electrical, or electronic implants/devices in place. If you are unsure if you fall into this category please contact your healthcare provider.

During your treatment, one of our providers will work with you and your body type to make sure each paddle on either device is placed in the correct location.

Body Contouring With Cool Tone®

Looking for more? Well Labs+ Medspa Charleston offers not just TruSculpt® Devices and our Liquid Lipo but also CoolTone®. CoolTone® uses Active Magnetic Pulse™ (AMP™) technology. Magnetic muscle stimulation is designed to induce powerful muscle contractions that the body could not otherwise do on its own. For most patients, 4 to 8 treatments are recommended over the course of 2 to 4 weeks to reach their body contouring goals, while maintenance treatments are recommended. Treatment areas include the abdomen, glutes, and thighs, with each treatment taking 30 minutes per area you want done.

What do the treatments feel like?

TruSculpt® ID treatments are typically described as warm but tolerable. TruSculpt® Flex treatments can be described as a contraction sensation. Some even find the feeling “ticklish”

Is there really no downtime?

TruBody treatments are non-invasive, require no recovery time, and allow you to immediately return to normal activities after treatment. After a TruSculpt ID treatment, the area may be warm and flushed for one hour, and with truFlex you may notice slight tingling for up to a few hours.

How does the ID reduce fat?

How does the Flex tone muscles?
